I would have a hard time believing the Courtney/Rachel s/l under the best of circumstances. Nobody ever blames Courtney for anything. No matter what asinine thing she does, it's always someone else's fault and someone else who suffers for it. So, all of a sudden, I'm supposed to believe that anyone in town would actually suspect her of murder? Please. And don't even get me started on Rachel. Fronzie must've liked Cottontail's nickname, because he went out of his way to get someone who can't act AND has real bunny teeth.
SO many things are SO wrong here. First, Courtney is forever baring her massive biceps to beat the shit out of some guy who may or may not deserve it. I'm supposed to believe she wouldn't hit a girl? Why? Because nice men don't hit girls?
Second, and perhaps even more important, Courtney is protected by the most powerful men in town. Always has been. She wouldn't even have to say what the trouble was, just mewl mewl mewl Jason oh I don't want to trouble you mewl mewl I shouldn't say anything mewl mewl she's bugging me and she killed your brother and wants me to kill your second cousin. Mewl mewl, but don't rescue me, I can take care of it, oh, I hope this doesn't ruin your life with Sam....
Third, if this incredibly stupid scheme were really supposed to have any chance of working, Rachel would have to be the invisible woman. WOrking with your victim and moving in with your hitman doesn't really do much to throw suspicion in other directions.
Fourth, the story hasn't done much to add depth to Steven. Maybe he should borrow the Goatee of Evil (tm Dandesun at TT) from one of the guys at OLTL. It seemed to work for Edmund at AMC.
Fifth, my tv screen is freaking out from the sea of white when Rachel and Courtney are in scenes together. It's like watching skiing. Without the excitement.
Finally, where's AJ?
