 Holly-gal, I hope you know what a wonderful place you've got here and that you and anne are two amazing 'board mommies'. I love coming here and knowing that it'll feel like a home no matter how views might differ among those of us who flock here. I don't think I say that enough about your NSC.

Going into that OT, I never doubt that this is a place where I can say anything and come and find some of the best threads. Even if I do cut that faltering cord between me and OLTL, no way I could stay away from here. I have been online a lot less lately because we've hit some very hard family times. From something that looked to be a lot less frightening at first, my Mom has been diagnosed in the last few weeks with cancer that is inoperable, which has all but broken my heart. :( She was in the hospital for a while, but came home this week and will start her first round of chemotherapy on Monday. No doubt about it, we're going to fight it though with prayer, hope, and love and keep our hearts on that miracle that she definitely deserves. Her spirits are amazing about it...she's been such an inspiration and has a lot of strength and fight about it. I'm probably driving her crazy because I've been like her shadow since she's come home, but hopefully she won't mind putting up with me too much.

Anyway, if I'm not here as much, please know it's not from lack of loving it here. I popped online a few times when I knew I could really only scan a few things for a little escapism and jumped right into the great chats about Samson, Cat, and Marah, and then Blabby's posts and smiled my way through them all.
