I've always been sort of an ambivalent fan - won't recap the stories over the years that have worked/not worked for me, but here are some things I like about this go-round:

1. The Dorian-Adriana story is drawing me in - because Dorian is so obviously starting to care about Adriana. MM/JG have created an internal conflict and aren't just relying on the "drama" from Anphonio's investigation of Dorian and David.

2. Al/Michael and Marcie. I was glad the Marcals were able to save Nate Marston's job. BUT my beef with Al's death was that all of the Holdens were being ridden out of LLanview on a rail to make room for the next set of writer residuals. I wanted AL not a Michael who looked like Al. Be that as it may, I absolutely love having a sweet young couple - obviously in love - on my tv. I think that shit's part of what soaps are supposed to be about. Most EP's and writers seem to think they're above writing it.

3. Wrap ups. IMO, the only good thing about the rape story was that it put a closure stamp on the story of Nora and Todd. Rae's gone, and John Sykes with her. Matthew is Bo's son.
