In reply to: Candy 's message, "I've watched..." on 16:44:21 04/03/04 Sat

...but I have yet to watch more than the first opening minutes of the pilot episode for some reason. I'm curious, but anxious at the same time. The Shield can also be extremely harsh and I'm not sure if I'm ready to handle all that violence at once either.

Cold Case's endings always make me feel better...the little music montage's where the lost souls find their peace always get to me.

I used to love those news story type programs, from 60 Minutes to Dateline and 20/20, and still get caught up if I start to watch. With the political scene in such high gear though, I think my stomach does better handling fictional violence ;).

Someday, I need more than basic cable. It seems like all of the most talked about shows are the ones I've never seen because its all on premium channels. (In a related ramble ;), I see they're finally going to start showing Sex in the City on a basic cable network from the beginning. That's the most talked about show that I've never seen an episode of, so I'll have to give that a shot when it comes around.)

More than anything, I need to take a page out of your book and get back to reading again.
