It's like OLTL back in the GT heyday only with JFP's ramrod touch. Sonny loved Brenda, not Lily. Sonny used Lily to save his miserable ASSSS from her father, then she got killed instead of him, and he's felt guilty ever since. And rightly so. But Lily didn't get killed because he loved her. Lily got killed because Sonny loved BRENDA. And he wasn't all elated about her baby, either, so WTF this shit is all about, I don't know.
If GH is going to bring back that whinging miserable little tattletale, they should recast Brenda and let slimy Sonny face fucking facts: (1) Lily was never anything more than a port in a storm; (2) it was always about Brenda; (3) Brenda was always the only thing really interesting about Sonny; and (4) Carly's not half the woman she used to be. Leeelee is the rightful inheritor of her father's mob territory. Let Papa's little princess take back what's rightfully hers, even if it means killing, or trying to kill, Brenda. Let Carly realize that she was right: she's never going to measure up to Brenda OR Lily in Sonny's eyes. Let her also realize that that's okay, because Sonny's a fucking dick.
I like Carly with Alcazar. Ted King is a much better actor than MoREEKS Barnyard, and he makes Tamara Braun tolerable. Courtney should go back to working the pole (and that way, we'd see more of Coleman). AJ should be recast with someone taller (though I have grown to adore Billy Warlock, I really think AJ should have a much more commanding presence) and should "outgrow" his alcohol abuse, his resentment of Jason, and his self-pity. Success is the best revenge, and it's time AJ won a few. I hear Nolan North is available.
