That's ANOTHER thing I have to bitch about! I LOATHE Blair singing. I hate the contrived bullshit the show has to come up with to give KDP an opportunity to sing. And then when KDP does that stagey thing with the microphone, I want to cringe, growl and throw something at the stage.
I HATE the idea of Blair as another soap opera chanteuse. Absolutely LOATHE it. Didn't mind KDP warbling in the background at whatever hell wedding it was THAT time. But I am PAST tired of watching Blair pick up a mike to sing something and whatever shit they write to make that happen.
I hate the CHELSEAFICATION of Blair and that's pretty much what she is being watered down into. CHELSEA REARDON on Guiding Light. Some whiny chanteause who oohed and cooed at all the throbbies until TPTB got so sick of using the actress to prop whatever lameass, that they canned her.
Ohhh well.
I thought it was a big mistake to re-pair T&B after the DBL. But after forgiving him for THAT, why not forgive him for anything that follows? I also wanted to take off my tin foil hat and jump off the T&Banana boat when Roger the Dodger took off. I totally loved Walker and I liked the Blair that was with Walker. Within minutes of letting the audience know that Walker was Todd, Blair's IQ points plummeted and then, shortly after, so did "Wodd's."
I would have LOVED to let T&B go. I was ready to walk away in '98. Was NOT thrilled when RH returned to reprise T&B in 2000 and Dippy the Goof and June Blairhead Cramer surpassed even my worse possible nightmare scenarios. Thought the DBL nailed that coffin shut, hoped Todd would sail off into parts unknown with Tea and never return, but alas... they still had "Todd Mob" up their sleeves. Cheered my ass off when Roger took a powder, figured they'd kill Todd off. But, NO. They saw that us T&Bers just LOVED Walker and Blair, so they had to make him Todd. It seems that even though WE are sick of T&B, TMFIIC can't get enough of them.
Count on OLTL to take everything you once loved about a couple, make total mockage of it all, and turn it into something you detest.
Anyway, I just hope TMFIIC buy a clue and step away from the abyss where BLEVIN is concerned. I haven[t watched OLTL for a week and I'm not jonesing to watch it next week. I already reached my bellyful with the "ick" factor involving sticking some putz with Blair during the Summer of Sam. I can stands no more!
