Sure, OTWB... I've just sent you an email. By all means, have her e me!

BTW, there was a family reunion in June, where I met one of Grandpa's cousins - Blaine Gibson, who was an animator for Disney for many years (his name is on the credits of Jungle Book and 101 Dalmations). His brother, Ellery, was an art professor at the university I attended (yes, I had him for one class). I found out they had a brother who had died of ALS. Another of Grandpa's cousins was there who had a father, Grandpa's uncle, who also died of ALS. All of this was new information to us, and Mom passed it on to her neurologist at clinic last week. She and some of her relatives are part of a research study (huge questionnaire!).

It's interesting info, but it had been determined with Mom that she didn't have the genetic form of the disease. She does have a very large extended family.

The best research out there thinks ALS is a combination of genetic predisposition combined with the right environmental or viral "triggers".
