It sounds like the association has done amazing things for your mom personally, in addition to all that they do with the hopes of finding an understanding of, a prevention or a cure for the disease as a whole.

I hope the Walk will bring you all the support and strength that it did last year all over again. I walked in The Relay for Life a few months ago in honor of Mom, and it heals the spirit a little, giving back what's taken when a disease leaves you feeling like you are helpless in its wake. It lets you be active in the fight, and that being active will be part of great strides that I just know will be made in your fight.

I'll be thinking of you, and sending my good thoughts and support!
