That what I've seen as strange or ill-advised on the part of MM/JG is actually them just trying to skitter over the shit they've been left with after half a decade of writing from gimmick to gimmick, with nothing in between.

I keep hoping that rocky nonsense is behind us and that story-telling will return. I miss romance. And pacing. I miss caring about the characters. I miss knowing them (and hope there will NOT be more Walshes and Coulsons).

I miss the days when the dead stayed dead.
