I have been the loudest about touting a Todd Recast. But again, I think a recast is best when the character is still somewhat VIABLE. By the time RH left the show for good, that was no longer the case with Todd and I felt it would have been a helluva lot easier just to kill the character off. And then write the fallout from his very messy life as an umbrella storyline for the surviving characters.

However, TPTB and its CWTOC did not agree. I do NOT have a problem with TSJ as the Todd Recast. It's just that Malone and Griffith are going to have a hard sell making Todd VIABLE again. Luckily, most people are more forgiving and I can get off the fence if they write a compelling story to show what was so momentous that changed Todd's appearance and personality. And I think that's what they are trying to do.

TSJ is so good that he IS wooing me back to Todd and that is no easy feat. I had pretty much given up on the character, feeling that RH was only going to run it into the ground to the point where I could no longer stand the sight of his face or see the mention of the character itself.
