In reply to: OTWB 's message, "Who are you to tell me I lost anything?" on 21:47:50 09/10/03 Wed

when I was screaming (shrieking, screeching) kill or recast - because it wasn't enough for me that Todd and Blair were together. I thought the story SUCKED, and I thought RH was being overtly snide on camera. On further reflection, I thought, well, of course he's playing snide. Who wouldn't? The story sucks.

Ironically enough, I got what I wanted. And, while I'm perfectly willing to admit that the plot that's giving it to me has more than a couple of holes in it, I've got to keep pointing out that I've been softened up for holey plots by the last many years of utter bullshit - people back from the dead before the bodies are cold, bad wigs, Niki Smith pushing Ben out a window, fake bombs, real bombs, fake DID, real DID, Tea has a brother - no a sister - Jen's older, no younger, no, older, no, younger, than Willy, yikes, if I recount all of the improbable historical rewrites just on OLTL, I'll go nuts!

So, yes, after years of this shit, I'm willing to overlook a few things that would have bugged me back in the day when I expected stories to make sense. And, yes, my willingness to overlook DOES have a lot to do with the fact that I'm seeing something I wanted to see for a long time.

And, yes, I miss Roger. But I don't miss the feeling that I'm being made mock of.

And, yes, I like Trevor, because even though he's different from Roger, I think he is doing an amazing job of bringing Todd back to life. And he has a nice ass.
