Forgive me if I'm missing something, but how is this mimetic? This seems more like one trying to impose one's will on another person. Rather than imitating the subject's desires, the person desires the other person's desire as an object. Appropriating one's own feelings onto someone else isn't mimetic. That actually would suggest someone has desires that did not come from someone else, and one is so trapped within oneself that one cannot understand other's emotions. But there isn't much in this song to hint that self-love is causing the mimesis. So the subject of this song isn't really a model, at least, I don't see how.
