supersize portions at McDonalds.

Did you see "supersize me"? These supersize portions can also be a horrifying thing ;-)

Anyway, I think I could find 1000 more unpolitical things that we Germans love about America. Though we are very sceptical about Bush and his politics, we love America very much.

Today's Spiegel Online's headline about Bush's victory is:
"Der Mann ohne Zweifel" - "The man without doubts"

What do you think? Does he know any doubts inside?

Do you think a Christian should be a "man without doubts" (self-doubts, particularly)? I don't think so.

You may say he has doubts, but as a leader he won't show them. I say that first, I am not sure. I believe he really has no doubts, not even inside. And second, I don't believe that showing no doubts is a good leadership quality, even if this is what most people believe (including UBF leaders).

Again, my impression is that president Bush's politics in many areas is not Christian and I cannot see the image of a Christian man in Bush, sorry if you think different.

Yes, there are areas where Bush's politics appears to be Christian, but there are other areas like his warfare, neglect of pollution control, bowing to the gun lobby, bad social politics etc. where it does not appear to be Christian at all.

On Monday, Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 had been on the German TV. It's always good to see the other side of the medal. The movie raises many good questions, and I have not heared many plausible answers which would exculpate President Bush.
