People were cross-country skiing (nordic) down the streets.
I wished I had time to do that. I like both nordic and alpine. During my 10 years of UBF it was "forbidden" (as any "fun" vacation) and now I have no time and my wife doesn't love it, though she raised up in the mountains with ski lifts close to her house. Incredible. But I hope my son will like it. Today he enjoyed his bobsleigh so much.
Reminds me of a story my UBF Korean told me about a UBF Korean missionary who married a German medical doctor and left UBF. Then they went skiing with their son and the son suddenly disappeared and was never seen again. I was implied that this was God's punishment for leaving UBF...
