The insecurities of the other were things that Dorjan could feed on fairly easily. If someone believed they were stuck in a situation, they would usually make it so they were even if they truly weren't. Lack of self-confidence could certainly be a bitch at times, as was panicking. And from the stream of babble coming out of this one's mouth, it seemed like he was most likely on the path of both of those things.

Dorjan quirked an eyebrow towards Pheonix, the sickening smile still on his face. "Somehow, you seem to me the type to not bake. As well as the type to not even have a home to go back to in the first place." Daring of him, to make an assumption like that. But why on earth would anyone be in this place for another reason? It wasn't as if he reeked of hunters or anything either. Desperation served its means to an end, but was it really Pheonix's motivation? Ah well, everyone can be wrong at times.
