^The young male stepped outside in the fadding afternoon. The sunlight didn't affect him as strongly because of his half blood and because of his magical barriers but he still didn't like to go out during the day and burned much to easily. But the dying light and the coming of twilight was perhaps his favorite time of day. The halfling flipped through the book in his hand memorizing some more of the long spell. He began to pace then spotted the perfect tree. It was positioned near the pond and surrounded by flowers, plus it was a willow. He nodded to himself and walked up to it. With incredible agility and relfexes he swung up into it's branches. He prefered to be 'above' things, nothing could sneak up on you that way and he could spy on people, just sort of a bad habit he picked up plus he was a bit of a trouble maker. But for now he was just going to study. He leaned against the rough bark and continued to read, being sure not to speak aloud. Sharp hearing could pick up anything that approached, and that meant anything. He was almost hoping to see some of the other residents here, and not to run into the wolf again. So far it'd been him and Sasha. At the thought of the fem a small smile spread over his features but he fought to return to his studying. Can't believe mother want's me to memorize this book by tomorrow. That and I can't use magic to do it with, gah, what's the point of magic if you can't use it to cheat? He spoke mostly to himself, another little habit he'd picked up but this one from his mum.^
