There is a difference between a named inanimate object and living creature. If a sword sees it's owner through many battles, he may build an affection for it, but that does not give it life. There is no shame in selling and possessing a blade of steel. There is no honor in a tool that's sole purpose is to kill and injure. The deed needs to be done, and a sword is the tool, but death is nothing to celebrate, and the engineer of death has no honor.

There IS shame in selling a living, thinking entity of most noble stature to be used as nothing more than an instrument of mass destruction. Tis a horrible deed indeed sir.
