理科點可能唔收A.Maths,你上到預科,你仲可以簡咩科呢.......?
但我同意,理科生可以簡會計,或經濟.值得考慮.

至於有人覺得,我校入u率,不及某些學校.就要從多方面想想.但我個人認為宿班不是好方法.如何提升學生質素及成績是較好.

a maths其實係可有可無,
有amaths,預科可以揀pure同applied, 不過由你唔讀a maths果一刻開始你就注定大學同所有工程學系無綠
無amaths, 一樣可以讀bio, ca, 做醫生, 律師, 教書, 一樣好多出路
a maths?一d都唔重要

�對一個學生長遠發展來說，A.Maths 是很重要的。它不只對logic training 很有幫助，而且在讀大學或研究院很有幫助。

在研究院時見到很多同學數學不佳及logic training 不足，讀得很辛苦，有些更跟不上。

在讀MBA時，數底好的同學平均分數(所有subjects)比較數底差的同學高。

考CFA時，很多數底差的同學level 2 就行人止步。

有位88年校友，當年讀商科，自修A.Maths。入左HKU Econ，考ACCA and CFA。他不諱言數底好令他有更多選擇，及讀ECon and Finance 時事半功倍。他現在是某銀行VP(副總裁)。

其實會考只是人生的小關卡，A.Maths更只是小關卡中的小關卡。他日閣下回望，比起放工咬住個麵包就去返學進修，or 半夜起身湊仔兼温習，HKCEE is just a piece of cake...

當然，若閣下的目標只是5科合格考警察，your statment"唔好強迫理科生讀A.Maths，同埋可以揀文科科目" 是對的。

我見D名校理科生都係靠夾埋文科科目，先拿到十A架。
其實我都想知：讀上去讀Maths有無前途？

從事教育的大伯跟我說：一般學生的出路，以從商為多，只有極少數的學生能當專業的工作！
所以不讀 a.maths，只讀 bio, ca, 做醫生, 律師, 教書, 一樣好多出路，這樣的想法太危險！這些工作都需要極高的 qualification，真的沒有問題嗎？
如果真係喜歡讀書的話，又點會怕讀多個一科a.maths？
讀埋 a.maths 可以自己又多 d 選擇的機會呀！（雖然我都唔鍾意A.MATHS，但係都係有個句講個句）
