近來名校新聞特別多，繼華仁、拔萃之後，今日又到九龍聖芳濟揭開五十周年校慶活動的帷幕。佢請陳日君主教為新翼大樓祝聖並主持感恩祭，跟住就開始一連串金禧年活動，睇校慶委員會主席袁金浩成年都好唔得閒。
講起聖芳濟，雖然佢都有好多出名校友，例如范鴻齡、梁定邦、藍鴻震、劉怡翔、張樹成、陳志雲，重有澳門財政司譚伯源，不過呢間四九年由上海搬落天主教書院，一都唔貴族，辦學係為平民百姓栽培子弟。八方記得，七八十年代時聖芳濟係絕無僅有肯收失明學生中學，學校冇特別設施，連凸字書都要自己做，靠教師額外的照顧，同學的互相幫助，失明學生都有機會考入港大。今次校慶活動顧問團，就有一個堪作香港學生的樣辦，就係莊陳有。

其實這是apple 的李八方專欄，專發掘政界花邊新聞的版面
這正是近年報界的怪現象。傳統的政治版面不斷縮少，取而代之的是報導"八掛" 新聞的所謂專欄。
不過，報章也只是市場導向的產物，有甚麼樣的讀者就有甚麼樣的報章。香港整體的文化水平是升是降，不問可知。
