According to my primitive knowledge, the reason for eliminating the photo-taking sessions for clubs and houses are really this simple one - 「減省攝影時間」! ha~
Tell you what, when I was still the SU chairman, the school also proposed deleting this photo session thing becasue of the above given reason, of cuz, as Lam Ho Yan did, we also opposed such motion. I hope that the reason for 服務組織被刪去拍團體照權利 this year is not that simple and naive.
Try not to be that rational my dear friends, use a more sentimental approach this time as the reason for keeping this "ritual" is more sentimental than rational I think. Just imagine that you were the member of a particular club, think of the moment, when the teacher announce that the committee members of the club please come down to take a group photo, the feeling of yourself at that very moment... you first hands up, inform your teacher that you have to go down, the eyes from your dear classmates......^^ and when you come down, you see your dear working partners that have gone through thick and thin together... it is just a very simple and happy thign to do... the most important thing is the word - RECOGNITION. We are not trying to show off but we just want to be recognized cuz we really did sth^^!
P.S. you can now see what's the effect of having no SU~ :p
