Professora e colegas:

O texto de BREEN & MANN (1997) taambém aponta nesse sentido, reconhecendo uma certa supremacia das estratégias cognitivas, conforme se pode constatar nos trechos abaixo:

"Metacognitive capacity
The autonomous person is able to step back from what they are doing and reflect upon this in order to make decisions about what they next need to do and experience. This metacognitive capacity allows the autonomous person to make decisions about what to learn, when, how and with what human and material resources. Furthermore, it allows the autonomous learner the possibility of making constructive use of any offerec feedback.

Management of change
Metacognitive capacity allows the person to constantly assess the usefulness and relevance of the changing resources around them and, at the same time, to change what they do and seek to experience as a result of this monitoring. Autonomous learners are thus both 'alert to chage' and 'able to change' in an adaptable, resourceful and oportunistic way." (BREEN & MANN, 1997, p.135)

José.
