A maioria dos(as) professores(as) ainda está muito presa à idéia de professor(a) como aquele(aquela) que "diz alguma coisa a partir de um certo lugar privilegiado". Delegar responsabilidade aos alunos, para muitas pessoas (inclusive pais de alunos) envolve abrir mão desse lugar de fala, de poder, de exercício 'responsável' da profissão. Isso dói!...

A propósito desse "dizer", lembro um velho (mas sempre atual!) trecho de BRICHT & McGREGOR (1975, p.1): "Telling is not teaching: our first principle should be: 'Never tell anybody anything he can find out for himself. Our business as teachers is to provide situations so designed that the pupils will learn for themselves'. This is true for all subjects."
