As you look up you see a beautiful black thoroughbred mare with a white star on her face gallop across the ridge of the hill. Her mane flows out behind her and she looks very regal against the colorful sunset. Slowly she turns toward you and canters up to you. From up close you can see wisdom behind her eyes but there is also a sense of humor. She looks like she has been through hard times. There are twigs and leaves entwined in her tangled mane and scratches on her back. In spite of these flaws her beauty amazes you.
"Will you please accept me into your herd? I am 3 years old and know many valuable things." she says in a small, yet confident, voice.
You look her over once more before making your decision. What will it be? Is she worthy for your herd?
