The effect of using real silverware would be mild to nonexistent, Jenn. However, that brings up an interesting anecdote about why royals and aristocrats are called "bluebloods." Long ago, that segment of society used eating utensils and vessels that were all silver, and after many years of doing so, their skin was said to take on a slight blue tinge.

The FDA at one time claimed that use of colloidal silver would also cause one's skin to turn blue. In fact, there is only one case of that actually happening, and that man had drunk over 16 oz. per day of c-s for over ten years before it happened, and suffered no other ill effects. Clearly, his use of it was excessive and there's no real chance of that happening when it is used in small amounts.
