I think the winner of the show gets a recording contract. If Sanjaya were to be the winner, and they'd have to give him a contract, I think that's where the problem lies. He really does suck compared to the others. Melinda Doolittle deserves it hands down... if vote for the worst, 13 year olds, gay community, howard stern voters, and whoever else are high numbered enough to take it away from her that really will suck, and it will ruin the show's purpose.
