Remind me again when Huckabee withdrew. Was it only after he couldn't possibly win?

Of course she wants Obama gone. If you've competed so hard only to admit defeat, you want your rival gone because you believe you can do the job best. That hardly translates to assassination to make it right. Instead it means that you improve your image and try harder the next time around.

I appreciate that you've downgraded your prediction of an assassination attempt to not thinking that it will happen. I agree, it probably won't, but it could. Not from the Hillary camp, though -- if you look at approval polls after assassination attempts, even success (Reagan and JFK recently), they always swing highly in favor of the victim. That's hardly what she wants.

Instead, if I were to guess, she wants the Democratic party to win even if it doesn't include her in the party. This time. Optimally, for her, she'll be VP, and have her own ticket waiting for her when that position is completed. If that doesn't happen, she'll still have had at least 4 years to take notes. Just like other politicians.
