Where are you getting this hatred of people with wealth? Maybe that's what it looks like to you on the outside and to right-wing talk radio, but I can assure you that the vast majority of liberals greatly respect those who are successful. They just differ from Republicans on how wealthy people should be taxed in order to best benefit society as a whole.

I just find it unusual that many of the people attacking Obama for his tax plan--even going so far to say not to believe it because he's a liberal and liberals always want to raise everyone's taxes--are so forgiving of McCain for past positions that he's actually held. And they celebrated McCain as the one trying to keep the working-class Joe's head above water when Obama's plan would benefit that same group significantly more.
