Subject: Baseball rant

I know there are a few baseball fans here.

Hopefully, this offseason will show MLB that SOMETHING needs to be done. The Yankees have signed the top three free agents to massive contracts and there's still the possibility that they will sign Manny Ramirez, Derek Lowe, and lord knows who else.

I am not in favor of a salary cap, but with the system that's in place today, there is absolutely no way that any other team can compete with them in terms of signing free agents. There are many things that could be done to better even the playing field.
