I agree. There's no need to leave. Just respect that there are lots of people with legitimate illnesses, and they would be understandably offended by somebody telling them they are using the wrong therapy when their therapy is successful the way it is.

It would be like telling a dyslexic kid who has been making lots of progress with phonics drills that he doesn't need to waste his time with that and instead he should just pay more attention in class. That might work if the kid was just lazy and wasn't really dyslexic, but how would it make a legitimately dyslexic kid feel?

Every person is different, and every situation merits individual attention. You can suggest that people explore alternative therapies without invalidating the approaches that are already working for them.
