Lynxia, one of the reasons I adore you is because of your strong convictions. That doesn't mean I always adore the convictions themselves. I'm sure that's true in reverse. (Of COURSE you adore me. Goes without saying) ;)

To me, this board of diverse friends endures because we don't sidestep firestorms. Still, the firestorms become ash and we move onto a conversation about American Idol or something else light. But if we only talked fluff, many of us would have long ago moved onto other boards because it wouldn't stimulate thought and discussion (and associated emotion).

If you need to take a break, do. But please consider sticking around. I'll miss you if you're gone. Heck, it's why I asked if you were alive and kicking not that long ago!
