LOL you crack me up. When you started out playing you had an avatar, and then when you came back one of the many times, it was gone!

You can only flip the board once. Everybody starts out with the same board. One strategy is to use up all of a column to so you can reach the green tiles. They double or triple the whole word. The blue tiles double or triple that letter, and you can see up top where the tiles go in your word, that the later letters are either doubled, tripled, x4, etc... So using a dark blue tile in the 8th, 9th. or 10th place is awesome because it not only doubles or triples due to the blue, it increases again due to placement. (I'm sure there was an easier way to say that. lol) When there is a challenge round everybody uses the leader's board and you cannot flip during a challenge. Everybody who makes a word worth more points than the leader gets a bonus of either 50, 75, 100, or 150, depending on which challenge it is. (The first challenge is worth 50, 2nd is worth 75, and so on.) If the leader makes the best word, nobody gets squat, including the leader.

I notice sometimes people in the leader position purposely fall to 2nd or 3rd right before a challenge ( I assume it's intentional) so they can try to collect the bonus points.

I was all excited tonight because I had a word worth just over 300 points, and then some smart ass made an over 500 point word. SHEESH I guess he showed me. lol
