Subject: Be a superstar on American Idol! (vicariously, like me)

Don't you love it when somebody says they know somebody else who has a brother who is somebody that some people have heard of? Me too! Wouldn't YOU like to be that somebody who knows somebody who has a quasi-famous brother? Of course you do. And I can help you make it happen.

My little brother, Perry Smith, an attorney in Orange County, Ca is one of the top 20 finalists for the American Idol songwriting competition. Out of 40,000 original entrants he made the top 100 a couple of weeks ago and they just announced that his song "You Believed In Me" made the top 20 cut. The winner (via online voting) will appear in this years' American Idol final and have his/her song performed by the finalists along with a songwriting contract by a major label and $100k.
