Let's see...

Good news: On May 16th (my birthday, FWIW) my brother will be boarding a plane and getting the hell out of Iraq. Yay!

In other news: On May 16th I will no longer be 30-something. Egads. That just seems like bad math.

Spent a few days in Texas earlier this month, visiting with my sister-in-law and the kiddos. They rock. Photos here if you're interested. (Sis-in-law is the one with shorter hair.)

This weekend I'll be moving. Again. For the fourth time in two years. Because apparently that's what I do. How I still have any friends left in the non-virtual world is beyond me.

And I'm oh-so-happy that "concert season" has begun. Loads of good music to be heard. Last weekend I saw Mike Doughty, former lead singer of Soul Coughing (who brought us fabulous tunes like "Moon Sammy"). He rocked. Next up: CAKE. Love them!
