Yahoo News works fine for me... I'd much rather read a story right off the wire than wait for some talking head to read it to me anyway. If you have Vista, there's a nice sidebar plugin that scrolls the headlines from whatever RSS feed you choose, and you can read a little summary blurb without even leaving whatever you're doing. If I ever watch the news these days, it's because I'm hanging out with my parents and they've got the TV on, or I'm in a restaurant or the waiting room of a doctor's office.

Thank God I don't work anymore at the place where the boss mandated that the breakroom TVs could only get Fox News.
