I've gone on extreme low-carb diets before (as in less than 10g carbs/day), which, as far as I would imagine, include no yeast because they include no bread products (and I don't drink beer). I'm on one right now and I feel fine. Starting a low-carb diet after having eaten lots of carb-heavy foods would give me some diarrhea for a day or so a few days into the diet as the body adjusts to ketosis, but after about a week, I'd be fine. And cheating mid-diet and eating something high in carbs like pasta would give me digestive issues sometimes too.

As far as carb-laden foods that simply have no yeast, like matzo bread or something, I can't imagine eating that would be a problem if not eating bread at all doesn't hurt you.
