I don't think it's a media conspiracy to limit coverage of candidates just because of their message. The media is desperate for anything even remotely resembling controversy. In the case of Kucinich, he's historically performed so miserably in national elections that they probably taken it as a given that he's not a candidate worth covering. They cover candidates like Sharpton though, because he's much more familiar to the American public as an activist, even though he generally does worse than Kucinich in elections.
