On the other hand, the legislation that PC reform has brought has helped in a lot of ways, particularly in the treatment of women in the workplace, which has helped them close the gender earnings gap in the United States by quite a bit in recent years. If it was still okay to slap secretaries on the ass and chase them around the desk Banny Hill-style, there wouldn't be nearly as many women in charge of major corporations as there are these days.
