You CAN be your higher power and sometimes when the addict is too intelligent (yes, I mean you) it's the only way to go.

People may tell you that you're just avoiding things but finding a higher power in a religiously based step program is far from easy.

The more intelligent the addict is, the less likely they are to accept things. They question everything and need logical answers that don't really exist.

Your conscience can be your higher power tint.

You can believe in yourself.

I didn't read this entire thread yet tint. I will get through it though.

You are such a bad candidate for treatment LOL You will be your own worst enemy and that brain of yours that has done so well for you all this time will lead the parade. It's not easy by any stretch.

Even as I type this though, I can have faith in you. I can't imagine YOU giving up. Let go, let god? Nope, not for you. Find someone who shares the same attitude as yours. You can work the steps by questioning their relevance to your personal situation.

The steps are there for support... look for it.

You're one of my favorite people weezl boy. You can manage this.

80 to 90% of the population I work worth are addicts. I've seen it work tint. You can make it work.
