I didn't think it was corny. And yeah, the Reggie character looks strange, but I thought he was a decent actor. And I imagine it's hard to find a guy who can act, play baseball, and look like Reggie while doing it. And I think Turturo does a really good job playing Billy Martin.

The only actor I thought really didn't resemble his character was Oliver Platt as Steinbrenner. But he's a good enough actor that it doesn't bother me.
