I'm a big fan of The Simpsons and bad mother that I am, I let my kids watch it. Most of the humor went right over their heads anyways. One time we went into the local convienience store called the QuikMart and Denise called the Pakistani guy that runs it Apu. She thought that Apu was a term of respect like Mr. to Americans. I don't know if the guy even realized but I was pretty embarrassed. I'm sure there's more moments of horror but I think I may have supressed those memories.
