(His chin lifted a little as her eyes opened, and he peered down at her as though checking to be sure that she was safe and healthy and had gotten proper rest. He was very observent of these things, and often very quick to reprimand her when he found them lacking. When he saw the lazy smile on her pretty features, he was powerless but to smile himself, and allowed her to touch his face with utter abandon, just watching her quietly as he enjoyed her touch.) Aye, yer nesting site is prepared.. I will start preparing the nest upon the morrow. (He turned his face slightly and nipped at her passing fingers in a playful manner. As she leaned up to kiss him, he immediately moved down to her, forcing her back so that she did not strain herself in her current state. He kissed her slowly, exploring her mouth with his, letting a little of his fire seep into her as he licked her lower lip. He made a little sound as she asked if he was hungry, and when he lifted his head his eyes were a dark red, like a well aged wine, the pupils thinned to dragon-like slits.) Aye, lass, I am famished.. (He murmured in his husky ready-to-mate tone. He smiled as she nodded to the table and he grunted his resignation. She had been just as dragonish about him eating lately as he was about her.. which was annoying to him since it was a mate's right to see that his female ate the choicest of their meals. Just because she thought him a little underweight did not mean much.. he could hunt. Nonetheless, he bent to scoop her from the bed, setting her on her feet and smiling at her jest.) It does not get old for me, a leannan. (He kissed her then, just a soft kiss, before leading her to the table and helping her to her seat, before taking his own. He used his fire to kindle a little more warmth into their food before checking to make sure her meal was sufficient. Feeling satisfied, he dug into his own meal with the sort of fervor he had used earlier, like a starving dog.)
