Durgan just smiled at his brother when he told him that the tiniest egg caused the most problems and he shrugged a little bit. "I guess big troubles come in small packages at times, aye? Yer wee white is a prime example of that." He winked teasingly before he looked over his shoulder at the lass stretched out on the large bed, his eyes soft for a moment. "Aye, yer dragon form is fine. I think I might try and feed yer lass just a bit if that's alright with ye. I donnae want to cross any lines but I think I can get some of that broth down her, aye?" He was trying to get around breaking the news of everything and he waited until his brother had taken his dragon form before he headed off to the side of the bed, gently lifting her head and supporting it with pillows so that he would be able to coax some nutrients into her. It would be much easier to heal her human body then to heal her entire dragon form. A small smile played on his lips as he watched her for a long moment, impressed and proud of the wee little lass who had shown her strength and power throughout this entire pregnancy. Once Dane was settled he finally began to speak again. "Evie is expecting. Just barely there my wee little bairn is but so strong already ye ken." He shrugged a little, though a proud smile was on his lips despite his non-chalance. His eyes moved back to his brother before he shrugged his shoulders yet again and cleared his throat. "And Kaden and twelve of yer youngest soldiers have vacated Lallybroch and took up residence in the abandoned keep east of the border." That was the blow that he hadn't been ready to deal to his brethair but it had to be known. Any male that was near the clan - if not in the clan - was a threat and had to be dealt with, that was all there was to it. Despite the fact that Kaden was blood, he had made his stand and that was that.
