Shrugging a touch, he fed as much of the broth to Bree as he could, enough to satisfy him that she would have sufficient nutrients for the time being, before setting the bowl aside - a maid would get it later. "Tis what family is for, aye?" He murmured in reply to his brothers thanks, brushing it off as was his usual way. It was why he did the majority of his healings in private or in secret, he didn't feel deserving of gratitude and didn't recieve it well. "My only advice is to mayhap take a couple years off before filling her again with yer whelps, aye?" Raising a brow teasingly, he shifted to gently lay the still sleeping blonde out on the bed, carefully covering her with blankets and yet careful not to let the one cocooned around her slip. For all that his brother was behaving like a gentle giant right now, Dane could start growling and nipping at any second if he felt like his mate was on display - any tiny piece of her skin. Careful not to disturb her, he stood up and headed to his brother, speaking his intentions before he got there. "I just want to check on the whelps one last time before I seek my own bed but ye ken ye only have to call for me and I will be here." With that, he knelt down beside the makeshift nest, one hand skimming over each egg to make sure they were adjusting well enough to being outside their mothers womb. The twins temperments were pretty even, complacent and a bit sleepy. The largest egg was a bit more awake and he felt...curious to Durgan. Like he was trying to figure out why things had changed and fix it. The smallest, on the other hand, felt just plain pissed off. Grinning a touch, he drew back and shook his head, nodding down towards the tiny egg. "Good Luck getting that one to settle down." One hand lifted up and slowly ran down the length of his brothers muzzle, his eyes soft. "Really, we both are truely blessed, brethair. Congratulations on yer family, I ken how deeply ye longed for them." Looking over his shoulder, he smiled at the little lass laying in the bed. "She's the last one I would ever have pictured with ye but she has done ye well." He had always imagined his brother with a woman like one of the harem - self assured, a little haughty, a touch cold to everyone except her mate and the perfect 'lady'. Bree, on the other hand was often times insecure, was always friendly to everyone and one of the most humble people he had ever met. Honestly, he wasn't even sure she knew what it meant to be a 'lady' just a few days before she had gone off with Dane, he had seen her in her human form, out in the snow with the whelps of heathers, showing the very confused whelps how to make 'snow angels'.
