I.. don't fully understand Dane half the time, but I can tell that he cares about you. I don't think a male like him would stick with a single female just because of her color. You know? (She narrowed her gaze a little, looking thoughtful as she reached for the book that Bree had discarded. It was full of all sorts of gross pictures of eggs and babies and whatnot. It fascinated her, actually. Paging through it, she glanced over at Bree and smiled.) During your heat, it must have been so thrilling to have a male fight for your honor like that.. I've never seen that before.. at least not since - (She trailed off and shook her head, not wanting to think about how angry Dane had been and how it had reminded her of her brother when he had captured her and offered her up to her enemies. Instead, she focused her thoughts entirely on Durgan and let the soft expression seep back into her features. Thinking of her male gave her an idea, and she looked over at Bree with a thoughtful look.) How do you think it would play out if we staged a romantic evening for you and dane? (She was scheming again, wanting Bree to be as happy with Dane as she was with Durgan. And since the males were related she thought perhaps there was a chance that Dane would react favorably to being wooed.)
