I wasna trying to make ye think I didn'.. tis just that I've ne'er been able to suppress the dragon before. (Not that he had ever wanted to suppress the dragon.. but he had been incapable of bringing the creatures instincts into himself and well, he blamed that on her. Not that the blame, in this case, was a bad thing.. cause he had never felt so amazing in his life. It was just that, well, dragons were curious creatures, and he prided himself on understanding things - and this was not acceptable. His gaze searched her face as he reached out and gathered her back into his arms, not about to let her slink off after what they had just shared. She'd put a seed of hope within him that they could truly become one, now that they had done so as humans. A scratch along her jaw drew his attention, and his arched brows shifted suddenly into a furrowed expression. Lowering his head, he nuzzled her jaw, before running his tongue across the scratch, letting his saliva soothe the wound. He could not heal like his brother, but he could soothe the ache a bit.) I ken that tis a bit of a shock, what happened today.. but yer safe now, lassie.. and worrying willna help us understand. We'll figure it out.
