He smiled at his brother for a moment, about to speak when Dane said he wanted to be suprised. He just grinned then, nodding a touch before he turned and headed up the stairs to his own wing of the keep. Silently, he slipped into the room, stoking up the flames in the fire before he stripped once more out of his clothing and climbed onto the bed next to his woman. Gently, he ran his hand over her shoulder before he leaned down to press a kiss to the same spot on her arm. She was so soft and tasted so good right there on her skin, well, any part of her skin tasted good to him, felt good and now that he'd had her once, he planned on touching and tasting that skin as much as he possibly could. Feeling a bit badly about possibly waking her up, he ran his hand down her arm and then over her delicate fingers - obviously he didn't feel that bad about rousing her. They had nothing pressing to do the next day, they could nap the whole day away for all he cared. A small smile played on his lips as he watched her, already planning on discussing what he had just talked about with Dane to his mate. That was a big difference between him and his brother - he was willing to discuss everything and anything with his mate while Dane seemed a bit more withdrawn towards Bree. She was his bedmate, the mother of his whelps, but she didn't seem to be his friend or confidante. Durgan and Evie had become close friends before they were lovers and D felt that it had helped their relationship greatly to go in the order in which they had.
