He didn't want to think of waht it would be like for a full grown dragon to shift inside this room. He let his gaze shift over her face and sighed.) I am sorry, lass.. ye have to understand that I havena dealt with my humans.. and, well, ye think as a human does. I didna mean to make ye angry, and I am nay that good at explaining myself so that it comes out the way I intend. I want ye to ken that ye are safe now, ye have a home and ye will have family if ye wish.. but if ye dinna wish it ye are free to leave whenever ye want. Only ken that ye have my protection for the rest of yer life.. ye are part of my clan, and a worthy female. (He smiled, shaking his head a little.) Nay, ye are a beautiful, intelligent and independant woman.. and I would be honored if ye would meet the rest of my clan. (He brought his hand up, trailing his finger down her neck above the necklace.) Keep the chain on.. it will stop ye from shifting until I've had a chance to show ye how to do so properly.
