Subject: May they all rest in peace

I had just arrived in Daytona Beach Shores for a weeks vacation when I learned the news that John's plane had gone down. The news hit me so very hard. I had always loved John like a brother, and this just could not be happening. I prayed so fervently that he, Carolyn and Lauren would be rescued and found alive. It broke my heart to learn that the mission of search and rescue had turned into one of search and recovery, and somehow, I still hoped that they might be wrong. I did not want to believe that they could all be gone. It was not until their bodies were located that I could believe it myself. It hurts me to this very day to realize that never again shall we see his smiling face in this life, but I am thankful for our Heavenly Fathers promise of Eternal Life so that we shall see them all again.

My prayers are certainly with Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg. Her grief, I cannot imagine. I am the youngest of four, and it would be so difficult for me to say farewell to my brother or either of my sisters. May God bless you. My prayers are also with the Bessette family. The pain that they are going through must be so very hard to bear. They shall always hold a very special place in our hearts, and we shall love them forever. May God bless you always, John, Carolyn and Lauren.
