There are three things you may want to consider.

1. Go to Home Depot and purchase some Deer and Rabbit repellant. Read the label as most are non toxic and can be applied onto vegetation. Spray the fence and any bushes in the yard to eliminate their food source. The repellant is not cheap and will require re application every few weeks.

2. Install 1/2 inch hardware cloth around the outside of the fence. Bury it at least 6 inches and about 8 inches should be exposed above ground. Hardware cloth (heavy steel screen) works well with privacy fences. You can purchase this at Home Depot in a 2' X 25' roll for about $20.00.

3. If the above ideas are not practical, you may consider an electric fence. You can purchase this at any major pet store. They operate on AC or DC current.

Good Luck,
