Subject: instead of pushing him away as she usually would have, she buried her face against his chest, warm tears soaking the front of his shirt until her sobs dwindled down to quiet hiccups and her entire body was relaxed against his frame, her arms loosely around him, having slowly snaked their way around him in her fit of tears
